Helen Bradley, social studies teacher at Nimitz High School, was selected as the Preserve America History Teacher of the Year for Texas. With that selection, she will compete in the national competition which is sponsored by the Gilder-Lehrman Institute. On September 18, 2008, Helen will be honored with an all-school assembly at which she will officially be presented with the award. In addition, she will receive several commendations from various state dignitaries such as U.S. Senator John Cornyn and other Texas legislative representatives. Congratulations, Helen Bradley! We are proud of you!

End-of-Course testing info
December 5, 2007Recently, Lyall Hartley from Irving HS went to Austin to the Texas Education Agency’s session for input on the upcoming end-of-course testing that will begin in 2012.
